Default How long is my stroke??

When I measure the stroke of my motor, it is 3.25 to the edge of the piston and 3.0 to the highest point of the piston. What actually is it.

Huh? Stroke is the distance the piston travels in the cylinder. It's the difference between top dead center and bottom dead center. What engine anyway?

Your right, from the block deck to the outer edge of the piston at bdc is 3.25 inches. At bdc if you measure to the compression hump in the center of the piston where the recesses are for the valves it is 3.00 inches. I found that it is a 68 camaro 327 due to the MA at the end of the casting number.
