Default engine swap

i'm going to replace my 305 T.B.I.in my 88 with a 327out of a 68 vette are ther alot of problems in this.i'm not worried about losing the computer.i like carbs better.the 327 also has the tranny still with it or would the stock tranny off the 305 work?any help would be great.

The 305 you are taking out is a one piece rear seal and the engine you are putting in is a 2 piece. Thus, the flywheel/flexplate is different. Aside from that, I don't see any snags at all.

Everything bolts up and that is the beauty of Chevy.
