Default engine swap

I just got a 94 v6 camaro. I'm looking to put a 350 small block, carb instead of fuel injection. I was wondering if the motor mounts would match up. Also if the trans would, I was told I would just have to change the flywheel. I know this year comes stock with a 350. So I'm hoping it wouldnt be to difficult. Anyone that may have done this or knows about it, please let me know. Thanks

Default RE: engine swap

What else do you know about the swap? I swapped a GM streight 4 with a 262 V6 in an S-10 once. Went from FI to carb. Mounts and tranny connections ended up being the least of my worries. I had to get the mounts to fit by grinding into the fram so the bolts would fit, the tranny fit like a charm. Most difficult was fuel delivery. The truck though the motor was still FI and theECM got all messed up.I didn't change the ECM, instead I wired a line directly to the fuel pump and would flip a switch to turn it on, a mechanical fuel pressure regulator controlled flow. Also the cooling system was a chore as the motors were different and the placement of the hoses and the radiator were oposing now. I had to get special tubes to keep it cool. My ex-wife, didnt like the project and I traded it in for a cavalier booooo. I hope this helps. Keep us posted with pics of the project.
