my 1985 was originally an auto previous owner converted it to a manual and messed it up. Clutch and trans are messed, have to really slam the clutch to change gears and alot of times will either skip gears or stall.

What i am wondering is how i would go about converting it back to an auto.... I am a new car owner and don't know alot about engines and transmissions and well....anything to do with engine/electrical

Just wondering what exactly i need to do to convert it back to an automatic and parts i am going to need to buy.

I just took over the car and wont know much more details then i just gave you (passed on to me by the car lot) and don't remember exactly what kind of engine is in it (wont know for sure for 2 weeks) any help would be awsome (if any can be givin)
