Default removing scratches

I took off my door guards on my 01 ss. I could not get the glue off so for some stupid reason I lightly scrubbed at the door with the rough surface of a sponge. it left inch wide scratches down my door. the scratches do not go threw the paint but it just looks dull. i used turtle wax scratch remover and compound rub and wax. does anyone know if any thing else will actually work.

Sounds like you took the clear coat off & it's not going to really shine till it is put back, but you can try white rubbing compound and a good coat of wax.

You can also try wet sand it with 1200 or higher and then use a polishing/compound.
