I have a 2001 RS with a 3.8 the fuel sensor has gone bad so I was going to go ahead and change the pump while I was in there ,so I wanted to know if the pump for a 5.7 would work?I thought that it would because it just delivers more fuel as it's demanded but the tanks and gauges are the same.PLEASE HELP !!

 

I believe the pumps are the same.

 

That's what I was thinking,everything except the pump because it has to push more fuel for the v8 other than that the sending unit and all should be the same because they used the same gauges in all of the camaro's unless it was sent out to slp and I think they did'nt change any gauges.
