Default fuel line and filter?

I'm currently bending a solid fuel line for use between my mech pumpand the dual feed line on the carb. In the past I've always used an inline filter. Right now I have the two paper filters at the inlets on the carb and a sintered bronze filter built into the dual feed line. Question...is it over kill toutilize an inline filter between the pump and feed line?
Thanks.

It is a very good idea to put an inline filter between the tank and pump so that it won't get destroyed if debris ever makes it to the pump. Then with the bronze filter in the dual line being your second one, I would get rid of the paper ones in the carb. Those are the overkill filters.
