Default converting efi to carb

Iknow i read a post about this topic that went into good detail a while back but i cant find it now, so sorry to repeat. I am putting a carbed 350 into my previosly fuel injected86 iroc. What is the best solution for the new fuel pump?Am i best going withthe block-mounted mechanical pump and running new fuel lines? I may be dropping the tank to either clean and reinstallor switch outwith fuel cell. Any suggestions on that? And if i am dropping the tank, would i be better off installing an in-tank pump? Any suggestions will help since I have never done any of this before.

Carbs are designed to run with a mechanical pump. The BEST way is to find an older tank or fuel cell and replace the one built for fuel injection and use a mechanical pump.there are LOTS of easier ways but the tryed and true way will translate into the least amount of problems down the rode. thats been my experience anyway.
