Default 98 camaro hypertech programmer

I have a 98 ls1 i just got my hypertech power programmer. I have a slp lid, 3:73 gears and a slp cat back exhaust. I need help tuning my car!! Where should i make it redline?? is going too much bad? Right now i believe its a 6200 rpm. Second is where should i set my shift points to get the best 1/4 mile time? or does it even affect it? this is how it reads..

1-2 shifts +/- 6MPH (in 1 MPH increments)
2-3 shift: +/- 12MPH (in 1 MPH increments)
3-4 shifts: +/- 18 MPH (in 1 MPH increments)

Right now i left it at stock because i dont know where to set it. If anyone knows if ishould add MPH in the shifts please let me know!! thanks everyone

Unless you have upgraded your valvetrain, leave the redline alone.

puta chalk line at the very bottom of the tire wall(where it touches the ground) then mark the driveway too. next push or drive forward until the mark on your tire goes around once, whenreaches the ground again. measure in inches the distance between the two lines on the ground. divied by 3.14 (pie) that will give you your measurement.

It's 26 inches. I just typed it into my HPTuners, and it converts it for you.
