What you need to do is what nj85z28 said to do but I will explain how to down size it.

#1 - Hit your start menu button > all programs > accessories > paint

#2 - At the top of the screen hit the file icon > open > tell it what picture it is that you wish to change

#3 - Now most likely this picture will take up the entire screen on your computer - that's ok we are going to change it up .................

#4 - After you open the picture up then go to it says " image " at the top of the screen , click on that

#5 - Then hit the " Stretch and Skew " button

#6 - A box will come open and ask you what the horizontal and vertical you wish to change it to ............ type in 25 for the width and 25 for the height ...... once you do this you will see your picture go really small ......... you may have to play around a bit with the sizes in order to get it to the size you need ... don't worry if you mess up just open up the file back again and start from scratch.

#7 - Once you get the size that you need you will need to go back and hit the file button and hit " Save As " ..... save it back in your pictures

#8 - Try loading it up in the avatar site again and see if this works .... you may have to do it more then once in order to get it to work but like I said it is a quick process and won't take very long to do.

Hope this helps ..............

One quick reference note ............

#1 - I meant to say Stretch and Skew to change your deminsions ... not attributes

#2 - If you make a mistake ... beside File at the top is an edit button ... click on it and you can " UNDO " your last command you tried ... better then starting all over.

Ok I just went in and made a quick avatar to see what the settings would be in order to make this work

I had to do it twice ...........

Vertical = 25

Horizontal = 25

That took the picture to one size 508 x 381 ......... still it was to big

Took it down one more time through Stretch and Skew option

Vertical = 25

Horizontal = 25

That took it to 127 x 96

That would fit in the avatar ....... so there you go bro
