I know that I'm still some what new on here, but I was reading some post in the ROTM section and some of the more well known members where discussing the notable drop off in member participation. I'm a member on a much smaller forum for heavily modified 2 stroke dirt-bikes. I like the idea of intensives to stay on the forums and participate. I think that almost all member on here, myself included; love the chance to show off there car a little. Perhaps if the ROTM winners car would be the one in the top right of the forums window. Just to say, this is the car that we as a site community chose to represent us. They would stay up from the day they win until the next ROTM winner was picked.

Those member's car pics you see in the heading of each gen section are supposed to be from the latest ROTM winnings. Some of them haven't been updated though. What you're proposing, changing the banner, I believe may be beyond what our Admin nj has access to.

 

Aww.... Well that stinks.

 

nj recently changed those heading banners to freshen things up, and used previous ROTM or ROTY winners as the featured car. That doesn't stink as bad as having none at all.

 

yea the cars featured are ROTM winners, and the ROTM cars are featured all over the facebook page. as far as the headers go, theres nothing in my range of abilities that will allow me to change it aside from emailing the guys at internet brands and begging for a new layout, which wont happen. we were the first site to get a fresh look with the new headings and fresh colors, some of you may remember the old brown layout that was quite dull.

im always open to suggestions for member participation if someone comes up with something, but dont forget the weather is very nice so most guys are probably out driving thier cars and not so much posting about them.

Glad I didnt answer cause I right at the bottom. I like the ROTM Cars heading each section, I think its a nice addition. participation will pick up. I dont know about everybody else but I out there pushing our site every chance I get.
