Well if your talking about a mid range/high speaker then right now i have simple sony 6x9s in nice boxes on my back deck. Ideally i'd have MB Quarts all around. Nice speakers. Either those or Alpine Type X Components. And for bass i have a simple Kicker 12" on a 380watt amp. For something mid range i would recommend Pioneer. walmart has decent ones for like 40bux.

well the key to any speaker is keeping it in its power and frequency range with little distortion. Distortion alone ca kill speakers. I just pulled my stock ones out of the sides in the back and they are rated at 10ohm. i was expecting the stocks to be like 8 ohm or so. But like i said, Pioneer makes a decent speaker at a good price. For something better i'd check out Alpine or Rockford Fosgate, kicker, Cerwin Vega... there are alot of good speakers out there. Just find one with the type of ratings you want in the price range you want. What kind of deck are you running?

iirc that pioneer is 200w max output. so figure probably 17w a channel rms. If you just want something that you won't blow easy and doesnt sound bad wallyworld has some JVC 6.5"s for roughly $30-$45.. I like them and with the pioneer decks they have hooked up on their little wall thing it sounds pretty good to me.. try walmart or bb or cc. find something you like.
