well, let's start by saying what i have...

-Alpine CDA-9883 Head Unit.
-Alpine SPR-17S Type-R Comps in front Doors.
-Alpine SPR-17C Type-R Coax's in Rear Deck.
-Alpine SWX-1234D Type-X 12" Sub in Ported box.
-JL Audio 450/4 4 Channel Amp.

All Wired using Kicker 12gauge Twisted Speaker wire. 4gauge Memphis Power wire. The Tweeters are mounted in my Pillars, where side mirror is. As it is right now (Until i order the JL 1000/1) the 2 Left side speakers are hooked to the L side of the 75 Watt channels. and the right speakers are hooked to the R side. so, i have no sound staging at the moment. But i have the Type-X wired down to a 2ohm load Bridged to the 300 Watt channel. I still need to get in the box, and series wire it for a 8ohm load, so i don't **** up my amp. Haven't had the time. This is only being used this way till i order the JL 1000/1.

 

yes, dashahwk sais IAT is 117, because it =sat in garage for 30min and ran. normally it's ~78-82, when it's ~90 outside.

Thats quality stuff right there but if you get money later on you should get 2 subs i think that 1 subs just sound very bad(my opinion) typr 12s would have dont you as good for like half the price. That jl 1000 will power 2 type rs perfectly.

 

i was thinking about getting dual 12 Type r's instead of the single type x, but it was same price where i bought(including box) and it was to wide to sit where this one is currently, i woulda had to pull it more to rear of trunk... losing all my trunk space.
