RE: new subwoofer
You can get some ok comps for $125. I would suggest $200, you can get a decent set for that that will get plenty loud and sound good too.
Woofersetc.com and go to CDT components and shoot for around your price range and get the size you need.

ok, i dont know if this sounds like a stupid question, but ill as anyway. as ive said before, i have 4x6 up front, will i be able to get away with 4" comps? is that a good idea, because i dont think it best to start hackin up my dashboard.

RE: new subwoofer
You would be mounting these more than likely in your door. Atleast the mid-woofer, your tweeter you can mount in multiple places. Im not sure of the speaker layout in Camaro/Firebirds. But if all else fails you can build kicker panel pods and have your woofer and tweeter both mounted in those.
FYI a 4" component set would do absolutly no justice, in any car.

lol i figured as much, so i also looked at the kickpanels made for camaros. i dont think i can put em in the doors. the window would be all in the way. so if kick panels will be good, i will get those. i have everything hooked up in the car now, new head, amp and sub, sounds great, cant wait to get the new eD equipment. it would sounds magnificient. if this stuff sounds this good.
