Quick question... will the steering wheel controls still work with an aftermarket HU ?

Or, is it expensive to have functioning after replacing the monsoon unit....??

 

not all aftermart head units will work. just ask where ever you go. the piece to make it work with a aftermarket unit is around 50 60 bucks if i am not misstaken. not too bad. are you just interested in replacing your head unit or you doing the whole thing. is it something you want to do or something you feel like you have to do?

 

50 or 60... not bad. I don't mind the head-unit so much... i'd really like to have mp3's playing... a nice fancy HU with a lit up interface. What bugs me the most is the speakers.. i have the bass on halfway only because i can't hear the music with full bass because the speakers sound like crap... the whole left AND right side vibrate and shake. I guess i just need new speakers that's all? I'm not too car-audio savvy...
