Default Stock speakers

I have read many posts here and have decided not to upgrade the stero in my 01. It just sounds like way too much trouble. But I do need to replace my speakers as I think one or two of them are bad. I have thought of using the stock speakers but was wondering...

Can I just purchase aftermarket speakers and have them installed and have them work well or do I have to track down the stock ones?

if you have the monsoon system and you think the speakers are blown more than likey they are not. so dont repalce the speakers, its highly probable that it is the factory amp system that is going out. its a bit pricey, look into that before you go thru all the other sfuff

If you go out and buy aftermarket speakers to replace your stock speakers, installing them would be simple. Just look how your stock speakers are wired before taking them out. Then once their out, connect your aftermarkets the same way

So here is the update.....

The speakers in both of the doors are not working....
On the passengers side both the back and the middle speakers work...
On the drivers side the furthest speaker in the back works...
The guys at the dealership said the stock amp is good.....(I hope they know what they are talking about)
So I've ordered all six....I figured...what they hey....may as well get it over with....
