Help has anyone installed HID's

Default Help has anyone installed HID's

I bought a HID kit and it is saying to disable the day time running lights. has anyone installed a kit and how did you do it. if i have to disable the DRl how do i do it or will the camaro take to the HID's and not blow the ballests It is a 98 3.8L v6. i need help ASAP thanks

Do your headlights turn on automatically during the daytime? If not, you don't need to disable anything, just install them.

No. You just need to plug everything up, and it will be fine.

So what kit did you buy? Who has found a good site for HID kits that works well with 98-02 Camaros and related directed-beam halo lenses?

Ebay is where i got mine best prices. just do some rearch on the seller. i just rigged the halos to the fog switchcause i cant find any ultra white bulbs for myumand blue with acreamy white looks really bad

you need to dis able the day time lights bc it will burn up the ballast on the hid kit. Your day time running lights do not work on a full 12 volts they run less than that, your hid kit require 12 volts they could burn up if you leave them like that

We figured out that his headlights don't come on during the day, so this is not a problem.
