Default Fog lights

I just bought a 1987 Iroc... the fog lights didnt work. There was no power at the switch I traced power back to relay on drivers side behind head lights. If i jump out the relay I then have power to the switch. Anybody know where the problem lies? and the solution

the switch is the power to the relay, when you flip the switch it sends power to the relay turning it on. By you jumping it, you're sending power backwards. You need to find out where the switch gets it's power and the fix should be there. It should get it's power from the fuse box, if the fuse is good for it, then you're problem is between the fuse box and the switch. Hope this helps.
