Do you really have to post the same thing multiple times in different categories?

There are kits out there to keep that functionality, but I have never replaced the monsoon system.

If you are just looking for iPod/iPhone/iPad & AUX inputs, the best option is USA-Spec, which plugs into the CD Changer port, also has a adapter cable which should keep the CD Changer functionality too. I have this for my RS & SS -- works for me.

Cool thanks. Well i posted in the audio section and saw theres not much traffic through there so i reposted it. What my concern was i was thinking of replacing the head unit to a better one, I had a 95 z28 with the premium bose and i replaced the head unit because the cd player stopped reading cd's and the new deck made a world of a difference with the facorty set up, thinking the monsoon may be the same way. But i do not want to loose those two functions on my SS. So yeah.

There are several aftermarket companies that make addional harnesses so you can keep your steering wheel controls. I have a kenwood DVD in my jeep and I found a aftermarket adapter that I only had to tap into one wire from the jeep harness to make it work.
