I am trying to insall a sony exploud CD player in my 1994 V6 and in the back of the old delco bose CD player the AM/FM radio hook up is going directly into the old CD player. what do i do with that do i just cut it and wire it into the new one? I dont know pleas help me
there shouldnt be anything like wired into your delco. Should just be something you unplug. Your antenna cord, and a bunch of little wires for the speakers and and ****. then possibly a ground or a power wire...idk i havent seen the back of my delco since i sold it
nonononono guys,
he only needs a wiring harness. go to best buy and get an aftermarket radio harness for ur car, it will plug into the plugs that were plugged into the back of ur stock radio (if that makes sense.....) and then u just splice those wires to the wires which plug into ur new radio........ plug... [&:] sorry, thought i was skipping there for a minute.
the audio section of best buy has a whole wall of them made for every car imaginable. makes it quick and easy because they are all colorcoded just like the wires coming out of the back of ur new deck

yea i did all of that allready but when i get it pluged in the new cd palyer turns on and shows that it is playing but no sound comes out of the speakers, and i have no idea what to do about that
u have to give power to the amps i had the same problem
there should be a leftover blue w/ white stripe wire that is tucked under the paper on the wiring harness
i connected that to the other blue wire on the other part and thus i had sounds hope this helps
