I need to replace a blown speaker in the passenger door of my 2000 Z-28. Before I break something can anyone tell me the correct way to remove the speaker? Does it require any special type of speaker???

Replacing the door speakers is no big deal. you jus have to take the door panels off and the speaker is right there. its jus a few screws and it pops off. for the speaker size it really doesnt matter but the stock size is 5 3/4". I jus put 3 1/2" speakers in mine though.
