Can anyone tell me how to get at the dash speakers in my 1978 Camaro Z28.From what I know the speakers were removed by a previous owner and I would like to put some new ones in there. My car didnt come with the rear shelf speaker option so as it is now I have a Jensen sub and amp in the trunk along with two Alpine 6X9 speakers but no speakers up front. Any advice would help, also, whats the largest size of speakers I can fit in there and what brand should I go with?

 

i replaced mine when i had the car tore apart so i had nothing in the way.i'm guessing the factory speaker was a 4x6.i bought a better than factory speaker from nationalpartsdepot and put it in.some of the ductwork will definatly have to come out
