94Z Bose system ?
The PO has taken the Bose radio and all the speakers from the vehicle but looks like both front door and trunk amps are still in place. I didn't check the rear seat speakers. Can I purchase new speakers and connect with these amps or should I just bypass them. I plan on putting in after market radio, not sure what yet. I want a good sound but I don't want to bump three cars behind me. I don't want to tie up too much money in the sound system, maybe a couple hundred dollars. Should I try to original Bose system? Suggestions?
Thanks,

Might check salvage yards for a Bose system taken out of a wrecked Z28. Do some research and find out what kind of wattage the amps are and run different speakers from them if you don't want to deal with salvage yards. It wouldn't be hard to wire new speakers if there are already amps there.
If you're going to run an aftermarket headunit, you're best best is to put some money into a couple good componet sets and forget about the stock bose system. With a good headunit and componets it'll sound just as good if not better than the bose system and be easier for you to install. And you can take the factory amps and sell those to fund some of the new stuff.
osduck5: I am selling my Bose from my old '95, should work for you -- let me know if you're interested:
