i have a 93 camaro 3.4 and just removed the factory head unit and installed a jvc stereo and i have power but no sound from the delco/bose speakers.do i have to run new wire and or replace speakers.any info would be a big help.

 

I'll be honest, im not very familiar with those systems, but I can say check your amp wire coming from your head unit. It may need to be connected to the car harness wire that is the amps's remote turn on. Thats what i see is the problem 90% of the time when you have power but no sound.

 

im also having the same problem. I went on crutchfield and they have this... i'm not sure if there is any way around this equipment. or if we do indeed need it to get sound from the speakers
