stereo problem

Default stereo problem

sometimes my radio go off by itself sometimes it turns itself back on and sometimes it doesnt go back on for awhile could it be a loose wire?[/align]

yup!

it could also have a built-in overload protection circuit

the guy at circuit city fixed it he took off the harness and hard wired it

but another problem i bought new speakers and my front passanger side makes a crackling noise when i turn the volume up to about 35 i exchanged the speakers and it does the same thing

from what ive heard its becaause there could be other metal touching it (you know how the back is magnectic), also something could be touching the front of the speakers which i dont think it is, or maybe its just bad wiring but im thinking its the first one

i took my speaker out of the door and it still does it i hope its not wiring i dont wanna re wire the whole door
i heard it could be a bad head unit

i believe if i remember right we have the same speakers alpine sc17 something they were cheap. maybe these speakers just suck but i really dont know anything about audio you said yours crack at 35 i dont know what kind of deck you have but i have an alpine flip down and mine start cracking at 16 which is like mid/loud

i have a pioneer deck its brand new i got it in december all i can think of is maybe it was a defective head unit or the door has to be rewired
