Default 2 12's or 2 10's ???

I cant decide if i want to get two 10's or two 12's. But my main question is has anyone put in some subs in a 2nd generation camaro. There doesn't seem to be enough room in the trunk and i really dont want to have to buy some truck boxes and put in it my back seat of my car. Any and all suggestions would be great. Thanks. James

Why would you automatically assume that you should buy two of each?

And why would you pick 10"s or 12"s?

Why wouldn't you go with one nice 10"?

A buddy of mine has a 91 that he's gonna stick a nice 15" sub back there. I think there's only about 18 inches of clearance, so his will bearly fit.

With the correct sub/box/amp combo, you can do very well with only 1, I've only got one in my Fiero and it sounds phenomenal. Crisp, clean, all that good stuff. The Camaro's a bigger car, so maybe try one 12?

I have two tens, but mines a 97. 12's make a bigger boom.. not as clear. 10's Make a smaller boom but more crisp and clean. Like these guys said though, if your worried about room might as well go with one, it'll sound great anyways.

I have a 94 v6, but I bought a custom fitted box which came with 2 pioneer 12's for about 120$. I also put in an Xtreme 250watt amp. I can not be any happier with that. It bumps, it vibrates, and it wakes the neighbors when I come home late . Just check around, Im sure you can find a custom fitted box for your model off ebay or amazon.

2 12s are usually the best, no lag of 15s, and deeper than 10s. but all depends on quality. i would neevr do 1 10. 1 12 yes. and you always put a nice 12" in trunk, and build yer own box, or take back seats out, and but 2 12s and build yer own box. always fun, frusturating, but fun.
