Does anyone know of a after market stereo that will work the same as the stock stereo? By that I mean that when I get a low tire presure light on I have to reset it through the stereo once the tire has been inflated to where it should be. If the car is low on oil then there will be a warning light and that has to be reset through the stereo as well. I'm looking for a replacement that can work with the car the same way the stock one would. I'd hate to have to take the car to the dealer every time I get a warning light to have them reset it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

That is all run through the stereo? [&:] I dont want to insult ur intelligence but you are positive that its not a separate set of controls that are sitting either directly above or below the stereo?

If it is truely integrated I cannot think of anything that will work for that. definitly nothing mainstream (pioneer, alpine ect....). your best bet may be to look up a monte forum and see what those guys do.

 

No offence taken newly crowned mod dude! Yeah that all works through the stereo. You push the volume button and hold for 3 seconds and a menu will pop up and then you hit < or > to select what warning light your trying to reset and once you find what your looking for then you hold another botton and the stereo will tell you that the code has been reset. Can you recommend any Monte forums?

thats really ghey that they put all that in the stereo.... its bad enough when u lose ur steering wheel buttons after a swap, but all of those functions? someone wasnt thinking. Good luck with ur search

 

what about new speakers hooked up to a amp? buy a 200 dollar amp and like 2 sets of 100 dollar speakers.
