I have a 2002 V-6 Camaro. I have been losing streering fliud. I traced it to the rack itself. The leak appears to be the dust cover on the front side of the rack.

This dust cover has a hex head. I tried (within reason) to turn it, but it seems not to budge. Can this cover be removed and resealed?? I am unable to find any info.

Second that is a very very painful task dealing with(replacing seals), its much easier and time saving to just buy a used one or new one.
