Beige License Plate Light Bulb stuck how do I replace burnt one if I cant take out?

It's not rusted but I got given a warning with the police

I don't want to risk a fix it ticket if it happens at night

My other rear lights and brake lights and back turn signals work fine.

There's no rust around the fixture?

How do I take out the browned out burnt old one if it's just stuck.

my freelance mechanic went through the trunk all the way, and even under the car

Please help

as night driving would be out since the police won't be able to read my rear tags.

as i mentioned it should come off easily, it does turn counterclockwise to loosen or pop out or anything

oh, a my car is Camaro v-6 base. so it has that hatchback trunk. and none of the wires in the trunk, under the license plates (since we opened up the license plates), lead to the old burnt light bulb being able to be loosened. so it's just a stuck light bulb. i don't want to spend $100 on a mechanic. since it's only an 8 dollar new license plate bulb at autozone. basically, old one is stuck, anyone know how do i get it out so i can put a new license plate bulb and not be pulled over by the cops?

 

there are a couple screws that hold the bulb socket in, take them out and the whole thing should come out. then you can get to the bulb and see if you can tear it out with some needle nose. i picked up some led lights that also hold the license plate on
