Thats why I said if the smoke isn't real heavy take it out and drive it to clear the cylinders.


The reason yous lower intake looks pretty scratched up is because someone probably did a lower intake gasket job and used a wiz wheel to clean it up. NEVER do that! That makes the mating surface very rough and puts grooves in it which can cause it to leak.

 

yep thats what iam thinking it is iam not certified or anything but iam no noob either yes the haed gasket had a leak no it wasnt warped there were no visible cracks in it and being the head was straight i figured chances are its ok. the old head gasket blew between the water jacket and cylinder #5 and being its the furthest cylinder from the water pump i replaced the water pump and thermo while i was in there. iam not gonna start it again....why would i? what iam assuming is the dude (*******) that sold it to me thought it was the lower intake so used a wire wheel fuged it up and sold that beast quick. i hope its just the lower intake and not a crack in the head thats only visible under heat/pressure.........

 

what does your oil look like?

 

looks ok but its new oil did a change with the head so the oils only been run through for like 2 mins.
