There should be two hosesconnected to the heater core. The other ends usually connect, oneto the water pump, and the other to a water passage. Since you didn't mention what year and engine you car has, it is pretty difficult to look up the hose routing.

In your other post you said you pulled out your thermostat. That's your problem, since now the coolant isn't hot enough for putting out sufficient interior heat.

Yeah, your never going to have heat if you don't havea thermostat in it.... Also have you checked your coolant level in the radiatior? Also is that hose connected to anything or just sitting there? If it is a heater hose like your friend says then you definantly don't have any coolant becuase it would all have leaked out but you would have an over heating problem as well.

yeah i will get a new thermostat here in a few days and put it on and RSSteve.. like the hose is just siting there.. and there is some orange corrosion in it.. if that helps? and well at one point the car didn't even come close to overheating for over 4 months.. its just my thermostat messed up lol and which it kept throwing water and antifreeze out of the resavoir
