Default White Smoke+Low Coolant

Hello, I got a 3.4l firebird thats has started smoking pretty good, I don't see any external coolant leaks but it goes down, but not very much (maybe 1/2 a water bottle full) it seems to smoke worse since ive changed the oil and the smoke smells funky (not fuelish) When I got the car, the radiator had a crack and the car overheated so I don't kno how much damage that did but it got hot enough to melt the collant temp sensor plastic... Any help is appreciated here, o and there was no water in the oil and I didnt see any oil in the coolant.
