im pretty much sick and tired of listenin to my car whistle. Any suggestions on as to how I can fix it?
the noise originates up front in the engine compartment.

I get this noise too - only at idle, not at speed.

Wonder if the tensioner or alternator is going bad.

 

Get an engine stethoscope ($10-20), & probe about the engine till you locate the noise.

 

mine was doing the same.. it came from the EGR valve not being fastened all the way down? hope this helps and if the hood is open.. give it some gas while looking at the engine.. so pull the throttle some and see if you can find the noise? thats how i founded mine out
