Where is the IAC Valve

RE: Where is the IAC Valve
It's the same picture as yours. If you're thinking the IAC valve is causing it to run lean, I highly doubt it. Depending on where it's stuck at (assuming it's malfunctioned) you would have a high or low idle.

RE: Where is the IAC Valve
Well, today I took my car to a mechanic to find the stupid IAC valve and he couldnt find it either. Then i went to another and they couldnt find it. So, quite confused I went to the gm parts guy and got a diagram for my motor to find out where the damn thing was. He printed out one but it wasnt there. I asked the parts guy what he thought about that and he said in a **** head tone, "Trying" to be a mechanic isnt easy. So pissed off because I knew I was right I somehow found the service tech supervisor and he looked my car up on the computer and found out that it doesnt have an IAC valve. Now I am sill stuck with my car Ideling irraticly when its cold and no IAC valve to check. Oh ya I replaced my IAT sensor and that wasnt it.
