Have a '94 Coupe 3.4 v6. 210,000 miles. Makes an unusual sound when upshifting
from overdrive to drive. Sounds like a pressure build up or pressure release. Have
been to two trans. shops & they said it is not the transmission. They have never
heard anything like this. Anyone have this same problem? If so, please tell.

uhm do you mean downshifting from overdrive to drive? or upshifting from drive into overdrive, your overdrive gear is the last gear you have the "crusing gear" if you will....

 

Yeah, downshifting from O.D. to drive. Its been a long day.
Could it be the kickdown solenoid?

 

could you try to describe the sound a little better man, a "weird sound" is pretty generic and could be anything. we kinda need more details bro
