Default Weird shaking sound

ok so I was about to get side-swiped and I swerved to avoid an accident and I lost control of my car and fell into a ditch. Any way since then there is a really weird shaking noise that comes from the center console. In my opinion it sounds like my drive shaft is loose or something. Thanx in advance

My guess is you may have bent your driveshaft. You need to jack up the rear of the car to get the wheels off the ground, put the trans in neutral (with engine off), and give the rear wheels a twirl while looking at the shaft and see if you see a wobble. You may even see a definite dent depending on how hard it was hit (if it was hit). Or, if you can get it up on a lift, you can run the engine in gear to help spot for sraightness. You also could have torn the trans mount, so give that a check while you're under the car.

The mount is between the tail of the trans and the frame crossmember. If it's torn, you should be able to see a split in the rubber. Push up on the rear of the trans to see if it gives or separates.
