hi im new to the camaro forums, i just recently bought a 93 with the 3.4L ad my water pump is bad, i have a haynes manual but does anyone have any tips on getting the pump out?

 

It's pretty straightforward. Just be sure the mounting surfaces are free of gunk, coolant, and old gasket material. A good, sharp razor scraper comes in handy and for the clean up after scraping, industrial strength Brillo pads do a nice job.

 

it is very straightforward as long as you have the manual.
its just a ***** to get outta there.

 

well at least it is on the V8. never worked on a 3.4
