I've got a 96 RS 3.8 V6, I'm lookin to get maximum horses out of it before I buy my LS1, I'm just not sure what I should put in it.

I already have K&N Cold Air Intake and Magnaflow Exhaust. I'm young and just learnin mechanics so I don't know a whole lot. Any insight would help.

Also, If you know of any good aftermarket interior parts sights, that would be great.

If you want more power without opening up the motor I would suggest getting headers and a high flow cat.

 

Throw a Z28 rear end under it that has 3.42 gears. Then get a aluminum 1-piece drive shaft. And like Socom said, headers will help alot. Once you get all that done, get it tuned for sure. That will be just about all you can do unless you open up the motor and put a aftermarket cam in it.
