Default CAI suggestions

Im looking for a good CAI for my 2001 camaro 3.8.... i want one thats about middle the road...good filter kn preferably...and around 200 bucs give or take. My current setup is the equivelent to using a coffee straw for a snorkle..so really anything will work but i want good quality..but im not racing so top of the line isnt much appeal. If anyone knows the part #and site(reliable site) for a CAI id would be extremly helpful.. thanks in advance

Whatever you get, make sure it is a real cold air intake, and not one of those pseudo things that just puts in a different air intake duct with a filter on the end hanging in the middle of the engine bay.

Well thats really all i can find on these websites for camaro v6 air intake is those ones shown in the link really.Idont want to buy something for looks really....its a sharp car to begin with so no need to pull the civic move"hey look at my air intake..cuz my cars a pos" so id much rather have something that works.

Both those are a ton of money imo for an intake...

But if your gonna dish out that much cash...I'd go SLP

Well what do you recomend??? i mean id love to pay less if im not gonna lose much performance...but problem is for some reason the 99+ have half the CAI options as the 98 and down...so finding a descent priced one is proving hard.

umm...I think 98+ have 10x more options then pre 98s...

bottom line IMO...a cai is a cai (as long as it's a cold air intake and not a warm air intake

your not going to gain any significant power from it, so I would go the cheaper route...just my opinion
