Question Transmission questions

Hey Guys, I have a 95 convert. with a 3.4 V6, shift from 1st to 2nd gear is slow and soft. I have to let off the gas or it will not shift. Could that be something electrical?, or are the clutches burnt? It is a 4l60E I believe.

Also will a transmission from a 3.8 V6 bolt up? At my local pullapart a 97 T-top just came in. 75 bucks and I pull it out.

Thanks
Dana

No, 3.8 is a different engine with a different bolt pattern.

So you post in the V6 4th gen section? No bueno.

Head over to the 5th gen section and post up your symptoms there. I'll take a peek if I see your post.

Isn't this car still under warranty? But yeah, ask and answer in the right section.
