Throttle Cable

Default Throttle Cable
Ive looked and looked and cant find the throttle cable. (hope im not mistaking, but thats the cable where i can pull under the hood and accerate the car?) I cannot find it, any tips?

What year? 99+ has the drive by wire (electronic vs. the old throttle cable style).

So theres no way I can rev the engine when im looking in the engine? (it is a 99 v6)
