Throttle Cable?

Default Throttle Cable?

Hey guys I think I MIGHT of found the problem why my camaro has not ben running up 2 par, tonight i had the car off and I flooried it, and my buddy dave, could still move the throttle cable down some more, it isnt totallty tight, could this be a reason why my car has not been running so well? thanks for the input,

Depends on what "not so well" is. When you floor it your just not getting full opening on the throttle blades so it makes the car a little slower than it really is. You have to push the pedal further than normal but the real effect is not until WOT because you are not reaching it.

maybe its my kick down not so well it it wont kickdown past 45 mph, it feels weak and not powerful like something is off

The TV cable should be tight with the throttle all the way opened. Most are self adjusting. You just have to reset it. There is a "D" shaped button on it. Push that and pull the houseing out, away from the linkage. Then push the throttle to full open. The cable will pull through to its maximum that it needs.
