I was curious to see if its possible to put a T-56 transmission on the 3.8 series 2 V6.

 

I can't confirm this but I think its almost impossible. Different bellhousing pattern if I recall.

 

Is your Camaro currently and auto or 5 speed?

You can put a T-56 in 1974 Pacer. The question should be what work is required. I would assume the T-56 Crossmember and shifter would bolt up. Bell housing, clutch and input shaft would be the problems. If you have the type of shop that can make one offs of those things then its a piece of cake. I don't have the answer of what exists but I would love to know if the info was out there.

 

It'd cost a boatload of money and I only know of ONE V6 F-Body with a T56 in it and it cost him over $4000 just to have it made.
