i know there is a difference in suspension stuff for a v6 and a v8, this is because of weight. even though i have a v6, would it handle better or meaner if i got the v8 parts? or would this just be overkill?
If you got springs for a V8, your car would ride higher in the front than what's advertised. As you said, it's cause of the weight.

if you have a v8, you really dont want v6 springs, but if you have a v6... v8 springs wont kill you. But i'd say get the applicable springs.

ive actually heard of v8 guys getting v6 rear springs since they are softer. helps the car squat on the launch

hm, i guess i just assumed they would squat to much. Would those work in the front too?

no, you will not want v6 springs up front. they will be too mushy because they arent designed for the weight of a v8. the idea is you want a solid plant, but you want weight transfer. there are probably people around that know more about suspension than i do but i believe what you want is a softer rear spring, stiffer strut, and a stiff front suspension, all in all the effect being the car rocking back, but the tires being unable to bounce

i think high 15s usually. ur still basically stock based on your sig. a new engine is just a clean slate, wont be faster than a maintained old engine. and catbacks are mostly sound. you will not get a statistically reliable gain in the 1/4 mile.

yeah i know imbasically stock i just meant a very very basic statistic. now my next question...is it possible to get my car at consistent mid 14s possibly a HIGH 13 time??? with no power adders? all motor? i dont want to drag race, i just want to get it on a dyno and be happy when i come off. i would be happy with mid 15s to be honest with you.
