I am looking to supercharge my 1997 Camaro RS with a 3800 series II engine. A4 Tranny. was just wondering if there were any kits out there and what kind of internals i will need to buy before doing this. this is my daily driver and im thinking it will need a shift kit also. just looking for idea's on what to do and how to go about doing it. also how much power will i be putting to the wheels?

theres another kit, but i cant remember who makes it at the moment. its not quite as popular as the rk kit. check the forced induction forum at forums.camarov6.com

stock internals will be more than fine.

 

does any one know what kind of numbers i can expect? and should i buy a shift kit also?

 

i would not think a shift kit would be necessary. with just the supercharger, maybe low to mid 14's on a stock car? im not sure, thats my guess though.
