It sure doesnt sound like youve been around cars all your life or you understand that a car with more power will win lol. The 3.4 is absolutely nothing to brag about, less so than the 305, its going to kill you.

 

you kno the 3.4 is a great engine for what they are.... and you some one who has a six is saying that but so far with my 3.4 i have beat a 1998 chevy 1500 5.7 v8 and a 2008 ford ranger strongly modded dont laugh and i have beat a 1997 ford mustang 3.8 so i think thats saying somthing for a 3.4

 

the 3.4 will do a quick 17 sec in the 1/4. i guess its pretty fast...

ok my friend has a stock 308 86 tpi trans am auto with 198000 with no rebuild so it burn oil like no other and my other friend had a 98 3.8 firebird 5 speed and the 86 won not by much so a 3.4 dont stand a chance aginst a good running tpi 305
