What size is the rear ss sway bar? Just found a website saying that gm had 30mm hollow fronts and 19 mm rears on all camaros except the ss.

Dont quote me but I think the front is the 32mm hollow and the rear was 20mm solid.

Z/28 stock is 30mm front, 18mm rear
SS stock is 32mm front, 19mm rear
1LE SS 35mm front, 21mm rear

You would be surprised at just how light the package is for Strano's 35/22 sways! Not heavy at all!

"-Lighweight hollow tubing saves approximately 5 pounds per set compared to OE bars

-Significant weight savings vs. solid aftermarket bar sets. 20 pounds lighter than 35/21-22 solid bar sets. Approximately 15 pounds less than solid 32/21 or 32/22 combinations."

Now if they add too heavy of swaybars with too weak of springs you will not get the full effect of the swaybars and you could actually cause the front to push by giving the rear too much traction. I would imagine that if GM were using heavier swaybars they would also up the spring rates for the car to help balance the handling. I may be totally wrong here since you are thinking that I was only playing with "toy" cars but I have also done alot of study about vehicle handling that can confirm what I am saying.

If stiffer springs were part of the package, I have not found that advertised or listed anywhere -- what would be the option code? Spring rates are greater in the later 4th Gen V6 years, however -- this was covered on LS1Tech previously...
