need ideas to make my ride smoother. even the smallest of bumps feel like im on a rollercoaster!

just some things i can do to make it smoother in general without spending tons.

im thinking new springs and sway bar or something??? any help and some actual products perhaps?

 

By on a rollercoaster, do you mean the car keeps rocking or swaying for awhile after the bump? If so, it sounds like it's time for the shocks to be replaced. Springs are for the ride height. If the suspension is noticeably sagging, then they need replacing.

 

yeah its definately more swaying and it happens really bad if i take a hard corner it jerks around so badly. my jeep had less jerk idk maybe just cuz different car? but i will definately replace shocks as i originally meant that not springs :P

 

Apart from shocks, also look at the bushing on suspension components like your sway bars, etc.

Before my leg broke I changed the rear shocks. After the leg broke I had a friend, who has a business garage, change the front shocks and it made a big difference in how the car handles.
But then the prior owner had not changed any of the afore mentioned items, even at 84,000 miles.
