Default smoke coming out of oil fill tube

Ok my camaro has small leaks and i am finding i need to add oil to the crankcase until i get the leaks fixed, my issue is one time i was putting oil in and there was a little smoke coming out of the oil fill tube? am i burning oil and is that normal to be smoking like that? I know i have oil leaking on the exhaust somewhere because i can smell it thru my vents when i have the heater on and I thought it was that but its that damn tube also. Any suggestions on whats causing the smoke in that tube?

its called blow by, when a motor gets worn the piston rings will let excessive air by them into the crankcase, the pcv system can not keep up unless the system is closed so when you take out the dip stick it lets out blow by. that and you saying you are smelling burning oil would indicate worn rings. a gasket may also be failing and leaking on the exhaust.
