we rigged the oil filter on the fitting part by basically super gluein it on to stop it from leakin
could this oil filter adapter part be the reason for oil burnin inside and misfirin?

RE: Smoke
You super glued your oil filter on? No, this wont cause a misfire, or burnt oil. Is there too much oil in the pan, that will cause it to smoke. The crank journals can splash oil on your cylinder walls and cause it to burn off. A misfire? IDK.

RE: Smoke
Check your oil to see if it is disclored like say a tint of green or smells burnt. If it looks like it has water or something in it you blew a headgasket. The misfire might be your 02 sensors its happened to my car twice and both times it was the 02 sensors replaced it and everything has been good ever since.
